It’s back-to-back scandals with this family, from matriarch Peggy’s affairs with both a wooden-legged married man and a local cowgirl, to Brother Boy’s 23-year hospitalization for homosexuality plus aggravated infatuation with Tammy Wynette!
Side-splitting performances are delivered by the all-star cast, which includes Olivia Newton-John (Grease) as the lesbian cowgirl, Beau Bridges (Rocket Man) as the wooden-legged Lothario, Delta Burke (TV’s DAG and Designing Women) as the seething wronged neighbor woman, and Bonnie Bedelia (Presumed Innocent) as the Junior League-aspiring daughter.
